Do not skip this post – the information could save your life
Having all the money in the world means nothing without your health. This post has nothing to do with real estate investing, but it has everything to do about investing in your health and well-being. In addition to teaching you about financial intelligence, my desire is for you to learn how you can lead you and your family to live a good, healthy, long life.
I repeat: All of the financial success means nothing without your health. If you don’t believe me, go ahead and ask someone who has lots of money, but does not have their health. I think you know the answer already.
If you value your family’s lives and want to live a healthier way, I suggest you read Dr. Collin Campbell’s book - The China Study: The Most Comprehensive Study of Nutrition Ever Conducted and the Startling Implications for Diet, Weight Loss and Long-term Health – (or listen to his CD series.) This CD series is not a diet, but a philosophy about health and a recipe to live a higher quality and healthier life.
He believes that by adopting more of a “Plant-type diet” the benefits are enormous. By changing our diet and how we live we can achieve profound benefits. He states that you can live longer and have a higher quality life. You will feel better every day, lose weight, have more energy, lower your cholesterol, lower the risk of prostrate, colon and breast cancer and as well as many other types of cancers. You can prevent and reverse heart attacks, avoid strokes, arthritis, and kidney stones. You can avoid many common surgeries and reduce the need for drugs. Dr. Campbell also states that you can preserve your eye sight as you get older and keep your bones strong.
A good friend of mine David Bevilacqua, shared this great CD series with me. As I listened, I learned what we eat has a direct correlation to most of the diseases we get. I have always thought the food we eat had some influence on our health, but I wasn’t sure how much. After listening to the CD series, I am now convinced that The China Study is true.
After 40 years of research, Dr. Campbell has proof that the food we eat is directly linked to most types of cancers such as: prostrate, breast cancer, heart attacks, high blood pressure, some cases of diabetes and other common diseases. He believes that the “Animal-based diet” – dairy products and the processed food we eat, is literally killing us and our loved ones.
We are living in a toxic food environment which is very unhealthy. Instead of following suit and becoming one of those statistics by somehow developing one of those diseases, it is now the time to change the way we live and take control of our lives, so we can live a more radiant, fulfilling life. Believe me, as I write this post, I am speaking to myself too!
More and more often I hear of a friend or a friend’s family member that has just been diagnosed with cancer or heart problems. It seems like we are plagued by this type of news all the time. For many people that are in their 60’s, 70’s and 80’s, the golden years aren’t so golden. I want to change that! For me, my family, and my friends I encourage all of us to begin taking control of our lives and stop this epidemic.
