Investor to Investor Education

If you have been exposed to the real estate investment space for any length of time, then what I’m about to go over will be quite familiar.

I am referring directly to the real estate “gurus” in the market who are offering all kinds of educational products.  You can learn about short sales or how to buy foreclosures.  My favorite is “how to make millions by investing from your kitchen table in only 30 minutes a day.”  I could go on, but I know you have seen these headlines.

Let’s just get something straight right now.

That’s a quote I heard on a CD about goal setting by Brian Tracy.  And I’ve found it to be 100% true.

When looking to achieve any goal, whether it’s a marathon, climbing Mt. Everest, making your first million, etc., one of the best ways to do it is to learn from others.  You need to model what other successful people have done.

I emphasize done because success can be that easy… find someone who has what you want, do what they’ve done and you’ll get what they’ve got.  Don’t get me wrong, work is involved – sometimes a lot of work.  But the formula is accurate.

That’s where we come in.  37th Parallel Properties provides investor-to-investor education.  We are, first and foremost, active investors.   We work on our real estate investment business every day and put food on our tables based on our success or failure with our investments.

This is different then a lot of the “gurus” out there.  You may find someone teaching their next “get rich quick model” or “how to invest with no money down,” but the reality of their situation is different.  How much would you trust their investment advice if you knew that most of their revenue comes from education and “coaching” vs. doing?

Now, there are some good coaches/teachers out there in this space.  But–and this is a big one–if they are professional marketers and publishers instead of actual “in the trenches” investors, then be very careful.

Ultimately, you will improve your learning curve and ultimately your financial results by learning from full-time professional real estate investors.
